What to Expect

Registration has closed online, but you can still support your friends and family by donating to their personal fundraising page. You can also register at the event on a first-come basis for $30 per person.

You can expect to compete with heats of 25 participants while running various distances between 200 and 1,000 meters each time that start and finish at our gym. Every time you return from your run, you will have to complete a general fitness task (i.e.. 10 pull-ups, 30 burpees, or 50 body weight squats, etc) before returning to the road to chip away at the total 5,000 meters (5k). We will be starting a new heat every 30 minutes.

Rest assured that before your race EVERYONE in your heat will be taken through each movement so that those doing “prescribed” or “modified” exercises can be determined.

So here’s the bottom line...if this Fall, you’re looking for a local 5K that’s a little different (in a good way of course) this RUNNING event is for you! Prizes for Top Finishers - Details TBA

Also, all proceeds will benefit Cornerstone of Hope, a bereavement center for grieving children, teens, and adults.

The Details

Heats start at 8:30am and run every half hour with the last one starting at 10:30am.
The layout includes:
- 200 meter run, 10 Pullups
- 400 meter run, 20 Burpees
- 600 meter run, 30 Hand Release Pushups
- 800 meter run, 40 Abmat Situps
- 1,000 meter run, 50 Air Squats
- 800 meter run, 40 Abmat Situps
- 600 meter run, 30 Hand Release Pushups
- 400 meter run, 20 Burpees
- 200 meter run, 10 Pullups (then yell...TIME!)

Partner Version: Any HEAT - Teams of 2 Run-Amuckers (Basically splitting the race in half).

This race caters to both runners and CrossFitters!
